The 0xReserve Infrastructure System, related web3 dashboard interfaces, and e-commerce storefront (collectively, the "Services") are operated by Good Deer, a registered commercial operating trade name held strictly by the corporate entity Good Deer Homes Inc. (referred to herein as "we," "us," or "our").
Our electronic commerce infrastructure is securely powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal and network-level information when you visit, use, interact with, or make a purchase or other asset decommissioning transaction using the Services, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using, accessing, or interacting with any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as detailed herein.
1. Personal and Network Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term "personal information," we refer to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked—directly or indirectly—to you or a specific household. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously, has been securely aggregated, or has been permanently de-identified so that it can no longer identify or be reasonably linked to you.
Depending on how you interact with the Services, where you reside, and as permitted or required by applicable Canadian and international law, we may collect or process the following categories of personal and infrastructure information:
-
Contact Details: Including your legal full name, corporate entity name, primary email address, physical billing address, physical equipment deployment/shipping address, and telephone number.
-
Financial Information: Including credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers, payment card tokenization details, transaction histories, forms of payment, payment confirmations, and related checkout details.
-
Web3 & On-Chain Infrastructure Data: Public cryptographic wallet addresses (e.g., Ethereum Layer-1 or Layer-2 addresses), connected Web3 browser session identifiers, public on-chain transaction hashes (TxIDs) associated with hardware allocation or lease decommissioning returns, and specific smart contract interaction signatures.
-
Account Credentials: Including your storefront username, secure account preferences, internal notification settings, and related access logs.
-
Commercial Transaction Data: Including items you view, add to your cart, place on a wishlist, purchase, exchange, or cancel, as well as your historical commercial lease records.
-
Communications Data: Any explicit information or file attachments you include in direct communications with our operations team, for example, when submitting a technical support ticket or a manual lease termination verification request.
-
Device and Telemetry Information: Technical data regarding your connecting hardware, browser type, operating system, network connection type, Internet Protocol (IP) address, and unique digital device identifiers.
-
Usage Telemetry: Information regarding your real-time interaction with our storefront and digital node dashboards, including timestamps, session durations, and internal navigation paths.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We gather personal and network information from the following primary streams:
-
Directly From You: When you manually input data, check out, register an administrative account, fill out an enterprise form, execute an infrastructure request, or initiate a support conversation.
-
Automatically Through the Services: Collected natively via your web browser or Web3 interface when you use our products, visit our web domains, or connect an external cryptographic provider, utilizing cookies, pixels, and localized browser storage.
-
From Our Service Providers: Trusted partners who collect or process data strictly on our behalf to enable the Services (such as Shopify, certified payment gateways, cloud hosting systems, and logistics/shipping networks).
-
From Secondary Network Ecosystems: Public blockchain ledgers, smart contract state-verifications, and decentralized name services (such as ENS routing registries) when confirming the true ownership or return status of an infrastructure token.
3. How We Use Your Personal Information
Depending on your operational configuration and how you interact with our brand, we utilize your collected data for the following legitimate commercial purposes:
-
Execution and Fulfillment of Services: To perform our commercial contract with you, process secure payments, fulfill physical hardware orders, manage infrastructure deployment settings, arrange for tracked courier shipping, process manual lease decommissioning payouts (CAD Interac e-Transfers or secondary ETH allocations), and maintain your active node operator profile.
-
Security, Stability, and Fraud Prevention: To authenticate your node identity, maintain a secure checkout environment, detect, investigate, or prevent malicious, unauthorized, fraudulent, or illegal network activity, secure our host servers, and ensure the cryptographic stability of our automated systems.
-
Operational and Support Communications: To provide you with technical customer support, deliver administrative notices, respond to regulatory requests, and maintain clean business-to-business relations.
-
Marketing, Insights, and Optimizations: To send promotional announcements, tailor storefront listings based on historical purchases, manage automated marketing campaigns, and optimize the overarching design and speed of our data pipelines.
-
Legal and Regulatory Compliance: To comply with applicable Canadian federal and provincial laws, satisfy standard Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) corporate ledger requirements, respond to valid subpoenas, court orders, or law enforcement actions, and enforce our core structural terms and policies.
4. How We Disclose Personal Information
In strict accordance with this policy, we may disclose specific categories of information to third parties for legitimate, documented business purposes, including:
-
With Shopify and Core Infrastructure Vendors: Third-party cloud providers, payment processors, specialized application developers, IT management platforms, data analytics engines, and tracked courier networks who perform operational services on our explicit behalf.
-
With Business and Targeted Marketing Partners: Specialized services (including Shopify's enhanced merchant advertising features) to analyze site metrics and deliver personalized notices based on your online interactions. These parties utilize data in compliance with their own respective privacy notices.
-
Upon Explicit Direction or Consent: When you intentionally instruct us to pass data to an external provider, such as connecting a custom hardware protocol or utilizing third-party wallet integrations.
-
Corporate Actions and Strategic Adjustments: Within our internal corporate structure, or in connection with a major business transaction such as a corporate reorganization, merger, asset sale, or structural audit.
-
Legal Enforcement and Shielding: To comply with statutory legal duties, safeguard our intellectual property, defend against actual or potential civil litigation, and protect the physical or digital safety of our network users.
5. Relationship with Shopify
Our digital storefront is securely hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify handles and processes data regarding your access to and deployment of the storefront to optimize service stability. Information you submit will be securely routed through Shopify’s global data clusters, which may include processing systems outside of your country of residence.
Furthermore, to maintain, secure, and scale our commercial business, we utilize specific Shopify enhanced operations data. Shopify may utilize data regarding your interaction with our store alongside aggregated data from other independent merchants to optimize global anti-fraud filters, user experiences, and network performance. Shopify is independently responsible for responding to requests regarding data processing executed directly under their master framework. For comprehensive metrics, please review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and access the Shopify Privacy Portal.
6. Third-Party Links and Open Web3 Environments
Our digital platforms may feature relative links or direct routing connections to independent online systems, decentralized marketplaces, or block explorers (such as Etherscan). We do not control, endorse, or verify the privacy structures of external platforms. Information you broadcast on semi-public or public venues, including decentralized network protocols and open-market smart contracts, becomes public record and is entirely beyond our operational control. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy disclaimers of any third-party interface you access.
7. Protection of Minors
The infrastructure deployment models and commercial hardware leases provided through the Services are intended exclusively for adults who have reached the legal age of majority within their home jurisdiction. We do not knowingly or intentionally gather personal data from individuals under the age of majority. If a minor has inadvertently provided personal tracking records, a parent or legal guardian may submit a request using the contact channels below to have that data permanently purged from our active files.
8. Structural Security and Data Retention
While we implement strict administrative, physical, and technological safeguards to shield your personal data, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed as 100% impenetrable. We advise against sending private or confidential credentials via unencrypted personal messaging or open email channels.
We retain your personal, financial, and network information only for as long as legally and structurally required to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. This retention duration is governed by our ongoing need to maintain active node operator accounts, provide the physical and digital Services, adhere to Canadian corporate tax retention laws (including CRA audit mandates), resolve technical disputes, and enforce our commercial lease frameworks.
9. Your Regional Rights and Operational Choices
Depending on your specific jurisdiction (including Canadian provincial privacy frameworks like Ontario’s FIPPA/PIPEDA or international standards), you may possess some or all of the structural rights listed below regarding your personal data:
-
Right to Access and Review: The right to request confirmation of whether we hold personal records regarding your identity and to receive a clear copy of that information.
-
Right to Permanent Deletion: The right to request that we securely purge your personal records from our active internal files, subject to statutory corporate data retention overrides.
-
Right to Structural Correction: The right to request the immediate updating or rectification of inaccurate or incomplete historical personal details.
-
Right to Data Portability: The right to request that a structured, machine-readable export of your personal data be delivered directly to you or transferred to an alternative digital provider.
-
Communications Autonomy: You may opt out of receiving promotional or marketing emails at any time by executing the "Unsubscribe" terminal link embedded within those dispatches. Please note that opting out of promotional channels does not halt essential administrative or transactional messages regarding active hardware deployments or manual lease termination actions.
To exercise any of these rights, or to learn more about your data options under our Shopify architecture, please consult the formal Shopify Privacy Framework. We maintain a strict policy of non-discrimination against any node operator or customer who chooses to exercise their statutory privacy options. Before processing a formal data request, we reserve the right to verify your identity, which may include verifying your control over the specific email address or the public Web3 wallet address linked to the record.
10. Filing a Complaint
If you believe our processing of your personal or network data violates your regional privacy laws, we request that you contact our team directly using the data channels below. You retain the absolute right to register a formal inquiry or lodge a complaint regarding our operations with your local data protection authority, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC).
11. Adjustments to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to adjust, modify, or completely update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect real-time changes to our infrastructure tracking methods, financial gateways, or shifting legal and regulatory requirements. Any updated version will be deployed directly to our storefront, and the "Last updated" date at the absolute top of this page will be revised accordingly.
